Today we got to visit Southside Community Service Board's new administrative offices in Clarksville, VA for the first time and it was so cool to drive up and see their new branding on the signage. I've been told it looks great when lit at night, so looks like I'll need to make the drive up one evening.
I went up today to conduct a training session on their new registration system for training courses, and Executive Director Don Burge took me on the grand tour. With plenty of space for growth, a great conference room geared for interactive presentations, and large office spaces, this facility should be able to serve as their home for decades.
I have to say, one of my favorite features is the patio out back; it's so peaceful, with a beautiful view of the lush woods. Any employee who needs a break to decompress will appreciate this.
Their ribbon cutting is next Thursday and it will be so fulfilling to see all of their months of hard work on display. Of course I'll be proud to see the new branding again as well - just wish it would be at night so I could it lit...
