Now accepting a limited number of new retainer clients

The clients we're able to help the most are the clients we work with on a daily basis.

For some we act as their own in-house marketing department, for others we provide ongoing content generation and inbound marketing services to complement their marketing department. But for all of them, we develop a close working relationship that transcends typical business.

Every one of these clients has been accepted only after we know we're a good match for each other.

Being a small company, we're picky about who we work with like this. We like to make sure we're a good fit because, after all, it's kind of like dating - who wants to be in a long term relationship with someone who isn't a good match?

On top of that, we make a large investment in immersing ourselves in our retainer clients' businesses and we like to invest wisely.

Some of the qualities we expect in clients we will consider for a retainer relationship include:

  • They're serious about growing their business. We're serious about helping them, so they need to be serious as well.
  • They're committed to following through on what's needed of them. There's nothing more frustrating than working with a client that we know is spending good money, and finding the client isn't responsive to providing the feedback or information needed for us to do our jobs.
  • They're open to using new tools. Business is different now than it was even 5 years ago, but many companies are still doing business like they were 15 years ago. If you want to be successful, it's critical that you not only get with the times, but that you get ahead of the times.
  • They understand that real progress takes patience. If your aim is just to get as much site traffic as possible, regardless of whether that traffic is even remotely suitable to be your customer, we're not for you. Ditto for being ranked #1 on Google for a generic search term or generating spammy emails.
  • They're willing to be honest with themselves and us about what their strengths and weaknesses are. This is essential in developing buyer personas and target markets.

Do you think you have what it takes? If so, let's start a conversation. Who knows, we may just find we're a perfect match.
